Das Nachrichten um den angeblichen Ausstieg von Steven Tyler bei Aerosmith nehmen kein Ende. Nun soll Steven die Band doch verlassen haben.

Bereits vor einiger Zeit berichteten wir über den angeblichen Ausstieg von Sänger Steven Tyler bei Aerosmith. Jetzt scheint es endgültig fix zu sein: Steven geht.

Laut Aerosmith Gittarist Joe Perry nimmt sich Steven Tyler eine mindestens zwei Jahre dauernde Auszeit bei Aerosmith, um einerseits von seiner Schmerzmittel Abhängigkeit wegzukommen und andererseits Solo-Pläne zu verwirklichen.

Die Suche nach einem neuen Sänger für Aerosmith ist gestartet. Auf der Homepage der Band heisst es:

Hopefully, we’ll have found a new singer by the summer, and AEROSMITH will be able to go back out on the road.

War es eine Kurzschlussreaktion? Ein PR-Gag? Man weiß es nicht. Fakt ist aber, das Steve Tyler nun doch nicht bei Aerosmith aussteigt. Bei einem Solo-Konzert von Aerosmith Gittarist joe Perry kam Tyler auf die Bühne und spielte mit Perry zusammen den Aerosmith Klassiker “Walk this Way”.

Zudem versicherte er dem anwesenden Publikum, das er Aerosmith nicht verlassen wird.

Nun ist es offenbar fix. Steven Tyler hat Aerosmith verlassen. Er ist nach einem Auftritt in Abu-Dhabi einfach gegangen und nicht wieder aufgetaucht. Auch seine Bandkollegen haben nichts von Ihm gehört.

Dieser Vorfall ist jetzt einige Tage her und Aerosmith Gitarrist Joe Perry hat nun über seinen Twitter Account verkündet: “Aerosmith is definitely NOT breaking up.”

weiter sagte er:

“Aerosmith is positively looking for a new singer to work with. You just can’t take 40 years of experience and throw it in the bin! Band is playing hotter than ever and our songs need to be played live! Don’t despair; Aerosmith not splitting up. Promise that’s the last you’ll hear from me on the subject till we gear up again.”

Der Wechsel eines Sängers ist immer eine sehr starke Veränderung für eine Band. Wir dürfen gespannt sein, wie es mit Aerosmith weitergehen wird.

Aerosmith: Steven Tyler ausgestiegen?

Gerüchten zufolge soll Sänger Steven Tyler die Band Aerosmith verlassen haben. Laut Berichten ist Steven nach einem Aerosmith Konzert in Abu Dhabi einfach abgehauen und hat sich seitdem bei keinem seiner Bandkollegen gemeldet.

Gitarrist Joe Perry dazu:

“Steven quit as far as I can tell,” so Joe Perry. “I don’t know any more than you do about it. I got off the plane two nights ago. I saw online that Steven said that he was going to leave the band. I don’t know for how long, indefinitely or whatever. Other than that, I don’t know.”

Jedoch überrascht es Perry anscheinend keineswegs, das Steven ging, wie er weiter sagte:

“He’s notorious for that. That’s one thing I’ve learned to live with. I try to overlook it. I like to pick my battles. Frankly, the last few months I’ve been wanting not to rock the boat. I don’t want him canceling any more gigs. We really wanted to do these last four. We just kind of didn’t want to call him out or anything and get him anymore pissed off, for whatever reason. So we just let things lie. So we did the gigs and, like I said, I got off the plane and saw this online. That’s how I know about it.”

Perry wird auf jeden Fall versuchen, Aerosmith zusammenzuhalten. Mit oder ohne Steven. Aerosmith sei ein so gewaltiges Projekt, das kann man nicht einfach aufgeben.

Aerosmith Gitarrist Joe Perry veröffentlicht fünftes Solo Album

Seit dem 09. Oktober ist das fünfte Solo Album von Aerosmith Gitarrist Joe Perry im Handel. Dieses heisst “have guitar, will travel” und beinhaltet nicht weniger als zehn druckvolle Hard Rock Songs.

Die Bandbreite geht hier, wie man es von Perry gewohnt ist, von Zart bis Hart. Sowohl rockende Songs wie “Somebody’s Gotta Get” verwöhnen die Gehörgänge als auch Rock Balladen wie beispielsweise “Oh Lord (21 Grams)”.

Echten Fans von Aerosmith sollte diese Scheibe auf keinen Fall in der heimischen Plattensammlung fehlen. Denn natürlich erinnert “have guitar, will travel” stark an die Musik von Aerosmith.
